Be Forewarned ...
don't know how many of you received the following cut/pasted unsolicited e-mail:
"Thank you for applying with www.accuratesignups.com
We have had a overwhelming response from notary signing agents, sorry for the delay. We have received your application however, we have a new policy which requires
A $25 application fee for processing.
Included in your fee is a regular listing at no charge on our national notary directory. We always call our notaries first from our national notary directory then from our regular database.
You may send it to: P.O. Box 550860
Jacksonville FL 32255
Please make your check payable to: Accurate Sign Ups LLC
If you don’t send your application fee you will not be added to our database of notary signing agents.
We will waive the application fee however if you sign up on our directory and receive $20.00 off any plan.
Either way, please reply to this e mail and let us know what you want to do. Thank you again.

Don't add them to ANY list, other than a No Pay list. I had to turn her bill over to a collection agency to get paid. Still waiting to make sure the check doesn't bounce.

Re: Be Forewarned ...$25??? LOL...what a joke! NM
Seems like I remember a thread a year or so ago about their database and how they were not requiring payment for work.
Payment for work is a typical no no from people who have been in this business any amount of time.
