Brother MFC 8840D Legal/Letter printing

Hello, I just bought a MFC 8840D Brother laser printer. Does anyone out there know how to set it up so it will automatically print legal and letter from the document. I have two paper trays ( bought the extra tray and installed it on the bottom of the machine.) I would much appreciate it.

You have to tell it which is legal and which is letter...

Go to the start menu, control panel, printers, find the printer and right click on it. I think you click on properties, then advanced? Tell it that legal is in the 2nd tray. Hit apply.

(I'm doing this off the top of my head-sorry) Then when you go to print something, you'll have to click the box "Choose paper by source"

Hope this helps!

I purchased one last fall. the owners manual will walk you through it. On the front panel go to set up and follow which tray ect. This is a good machine havent had any problems with it.
