California "Venue"
Is the "Venue" in California, the county where the notarization occured, or is it the county that I'm commissioned in? Silly Question, I should know this. I'm 99% sure it's the county where the act took place but I'd love for someone to verify this for me.

Uh, Rick
I just notice you are IN California...for some reason I thought you were out of state. Are you a notary?

Re: Uh, Rick
Rick asking where the venue is not a silly question. It is a rediculous one. As a CA notary you should have the handbook ready to pull out and check. I know getting commisioned was easy, don't let it make you slotful and disrespectful to the office. It is extremely important to know your laws backwards and forwards. Let this so called silly question motivate you to get that handbook out and study, study, study.

Re: Uh, Rick, TG, I do believe that you were speaking to
two different Ricks, this one and the one from NY with whom you exchanged posts last night.

Is that right, Charles??
And where were you last night, Charles...to point this out?? It would take someone a bit saavy as to the posts of regular members to figure this one out.
Good for you.... I think.

and it may be my reading comprehension. It appears that transference occurred that was unintended but on whose part, at this point I am not at all sure.

Two different Ricks?? Are you telling me
who I am directing a post to? That would be a mistake, Charles, and I do not need clarification on it.
"two different Ricks, this one and the one from NY with whom you exchanged posts last night"
You would have to read that particular post, Charles; and other conversation to assume something. I dislike assumptions, very, very much.

Years ago a student asked Sigmund Freud about his
smoking cigars because of his theories of substitution regarding human sexuality. Dr. Freud thought about it for a while and turned to the student and said "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar!"
It must truly be nice to be able to live a life so devoid of problems that one has to make up their own innuendo and subterfuge. To make assumptions about what someone else might or might not be assuming while all around us there are people who are living true life and death drama is hard to comprehend. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, and sometimes what you see is what you get, and assumptions are not assumptions at all but just a comment in passing.

Goodness Charles!
You were the one that wanted to clarify my posts about the various "Ricks" on the board!
Sometimes, a cigar is a cigar and sometimes a cigar is in the hands of Bill Clinton. The difference is huge.
