Certified copies

Can you certify a copy of a diploma? I have a client that has the original diploma, but her employer wants a certified copy. TIA

No, but she can write something up to the effect that the diploma is an original and you can notarize her signature to that. Please refer to CA 2006 handbook on what you can actually certify in the State of CA and copy certification by document custodian.

I would think the learning institution has to issue this certification.
