Fingerprinting
What do I have to do or whom do I contact to be able to perform fingerprinting? Anyone have any idea?

Re: Fingerprinting, depends on your State and who you
are going to fingerprint. California requires a rolling certificate but they've gone to Live Scan 100% so unless you have your own Live Scan system you are out of luck. Some places still use the old FBI forms for their employees. Like with any business the first thing you should do is identify your market, if there is no market why bother! I am absolutely amazed at how many people I run into have jumped into a business without analyzing their market, if there is no market there is no business and yet people expend time, effort, and money and don't even know if they have a market.

Fingerprinting is no big deal, go ahead and answer yes and then if the need arises you can always get the equipment, its actually available in most places, a smooth hard surface, a brayer (roller) and printer's ink are all that is required. Most people bring the cards that were given to them to get their fingerprints on, you roll he finger from nail to nail (more or less). I probably do one or two jobs a year and each one is about 20 to 30 cards and I do actually have a market, but you have to develop your own markets.
