First Choice Signing Service

Has anyone had a hard time getting paid by these people?

Yeah, I've done a couple of signings for them in the past and every single time I had to call once or twice to get the payment sent out. I only got calls from them every couple of months, so it took a few signings for me to remember that they don't send out payment without prompting.

I doubt they'll screw you over, but I sure wouldn't work for them again.

I've done alot of signings for them. They have never not paid me for my services. They do take a while to pay though. About 2 months later.

First Choice, told me that it always takes 45 to 60 days

When I accepted the order. It took 60 days to get my check. I have not problem if they tell me ahead of time.

Would somebody explain to me why.............

some outfits (like this one) definitely pays, but its twice the usuall 30 days net and sometimes longer than that. Why not pay in a reasonable amount of time? Its the only thing about this co. that sucks. Otherwise, Jarrod runs a good business.

I did one signing for them and they paid in 45 days and also paid $25.00 more than I had
quoted as the fee.

They also told me 45 days

I do about 7 to 10 signings for them a month. Jarrod is a good friend of mine who I have known for a long time. I go into his office to pick up the docs most of the time, and I have talked to him about speeding up his paying process, not only for me, but for other notaries also. He said he is trying to, as he knows he has a bad rap about being slow payers. His turn around time is 45 days. That is what he tells people. Sometimes he doesn't get paid on time. Companies are slow payers to him also. There have been times that companies don't even want to pay him. His only option then is to take them to court, or at least threaten to do so. Things like this really mess up his payment schedule, and this is why he set it at 45 days.
Like I said Jarrod is a good friend of mine. He pays me slow also. But he always pays. Unlike a lot of other companies I have done business with. Even if we wern't friends I would still do business with them because they are a good company to work for, and they always pay. They aren't hand holders, and don't ask for much. They just want the signing done correctly, and for you to call them if there are ANY problems.
