Fla. Notaries...

We're going to Ft Lauderdale and Orlando 3-16/3-25 and I was wondering what the gas prices are like down there. Any response is appriciated! TIA!

I'm in the western panhandle but the price I paid last night was $2.29 a gallon. It could be worse as witnessed by everyone last fall.

Thanks! I have an Uncle at Destin Fl.
Price isn't too bad, it's 2.25 here, so that's not much difference!
Thanks again and have a great week~

Thanks for the link eXpedN!

I think the kids are gonna love this trip! I've been to Disneyland a number of times, but never more that 1 day per trip, never been to Disneyworld and this is for 5 days at the parks, still probably won't see everything, but gonna give it one heck of a shot! LOL!
Thanks Again!

Re: Thanks for the link eXpedN!

You're welcome. I love Disney World...and it you have time for Epcot as well, I would try to fit it in. Before my Father passed away in 1986, we would take road trips down there from time to time. I went a couple times after 1986 with my mom, borther, and cousins. One year I got dehydrated and was sick. They took me behind the scenes to the infirmary. That was so cool to see too. One of the guys I play violin with in a local Orchestra plays for the Disney Orchestra. You guys are going to have a ball!!!! Smile

We got the park hopper option on the tickets and I am looking forward to Epcot just about as much as anything! My 9 yr old is really excited about MGM and the Indiana Jones thing, that's his hero! The 7 year old wants to meet all of the princesses! LOL!
I'm really excited about going! It's been years since I've gone to anything Disney, besides, I'm thinking, like the commercial advertises, I get to be a kid again for a while! YIPPEE! LOL!

yes, from me too, thanks. We'll be over there the last week of July with the kids in the height of HOT! The last time I did Disney, I was 7 months pregnant and sat down every block to cry in misery Smile
I'm going to invest in some good walking shoes!

Was it summertime? That would be so miserable! This time will be a lot easier! LOL! Have a great trip!

Yep, it was about 2,000 degrees and every popsicle I got was rubbed over my forehead and chest... What an experience! I did enjoy that 4 hour long cold shower back at the Dolphin tho!

Prices between Tampa and Orlando were 2.25 to 2.75 (regular unleaded). Some of the discount places and those away from the attractions, may be a bit lower, but Orlando is a tourist area so prices are artifically higher there.

Thanks PAW!

Sounds like it's not gonna be as bad as I feared! We are renting a minivan and it's supposed to get decent gas milage, so we'll see. Staying near WDW so can take the shuttle to/from the parks and that will help. Guess it just depends on how much exploring we want to do away from WDW!
Thanks again!

Stretch your leg muscles before...

you start out on your tour of Disneyworld. By the end of the day they will be pretty sore if you don't! Also, wear good walking shoes! Have fun!

Re: Stretch your leg muscles before...

Thanks for the advice! I was debating between sandals or my Nike's but the more I think about it, I'm leaning towards the Nike's.
I didn't think about stretching out my leg muscles, wonder if my pre-running stretches would work? At least it would warm up my muscles I think.
Hope everyone has a great week! And thanks for the responses!

Bonnie,

Walmart or Sam's has the best prices most times and if you put in on a Walmart Credit Card or gift card, you get 3 cents off

Margaret...
