Re: Go Live! Geat idea Harry.
Two reasons:
1) System impact. If Notary Talk Live! were open to all users, it would probably burden the talk server.
2) System abuse. Some of the most abusive board participants are basic (free) members. We really don't need them in the live system, as well.
If we find that the talk server can handle the load, we may open it to all members at a future date or we may have specific dates/times for unrestricted live talk sessions.

Re: Go Live! Geat idea Harry.
Couldn't agree more! I feel like the amount of "frivolous" postings (for lack of a better term) and social chit-chat has become a bit overwhelming and have long thought that many posts were more appropriate for a chat room. There has been so much volume that messages from just a day or two previously quickly fall several pages back, making them hard to follow up on. I don't know how so many of you find the time to stay on top of everything! As the volume has been increasing, I find I come here less and less 'cause I just can't keep up. (I feel like an old lady with a cane... or maybe my DSL is letting me down... hmmmmm! ;> )
Anyway, I hope the live chat provides the feeling of connectedness and comraderie that many have found here, while allowing the message board to once more put the primary focus on actual notary and SA issues. There will undoubtedly be some changes with time zones involved, but I really hope that most will try to restrict themselves to things that will be of more general interest/benefit and useful for ongoing follow-up. I don't mean that people should feel stifled, but I have to say that I hardly recognize this board any more.
Thanks again, Harry!!!
