I had no idea some of these cities looked the way they do. I've never been to Chicago, had no idea it was so pretty a skyline.

My Dad is an architect, does a lot on the buildings dowtown Chicago. I have a collection gargoyles, you should see one he rescued for me off the top of a building.

Cool. I love things like this. Love anything "old" actually. Old buildings and architecture are some of the best works of art.
Chicago is now on my list of places to visit. The list is 2 pages long and growing constantly.

Chicago is a great town. Lots to see and do, and especially eat. Might be moving there. I took my kids to the Pier when the Blue Angels were there. Wow, what a sight. I'ts the largest air show in the world. Very impressive

White Castle's

I don't care for them myself. Not as good as they used to be. I have a recipe to make them at home and they are waaaaay better. Have you been to Portello's? Another great place. The Museum is awesome also. I got to see the Monet exhibit. Stunning.

really? That's where my family is. Gorgeous year around, even the winter. Yep, I was on a couple of 'protected acres'. Nice, except for those damn racoons and hawks and the occasional owl that would raid a bird's nest in the middle of a family outdoor dinner Smile

I've been to all these places except Shenzen, and Guangzhou China, and Sao Paolo. I think they should have included Perth Australia. By the way...I've yet to make $100,000 as a SA (or even 1/3 of that) It's hard to travel near the end of the month, if you want to make any money at all.

I know Les....every time we want to travel, we have to make sure it's not that time of the month Smile

Hubby got to see Korea a few years back for work reasons, he thought New York was crowded!

Re: Charm

I'd recommend going to many of these places (Korea would not be first on my list). It is really difficult to go on long trips while waiting for the phone to ring. I take a week from time to time but only on the first of the month. That pretty much leaves Asia out. Oh well, Mexico is only a couple of hours away, and as long as no hurricanes, it's still okay for a break (from the snow, like today. Wish I were there now!)

Re: Great skylines!.....ot Very Cool Charm

I've seen most of them but I think I would have replaced a couple with San Francisco (viewed from Marin) and Miami. A collection of gargoyles, wow, how cool is that!
