HUD Settlement Statement

I've received a package for a signing in the morning (Wells Fargo), and there is only one page of the HUD Settlement Statement. Isn't there supposed to be a signature page? In all of the signings I have done, there have always been two or three pages of this Statement, the customers initialled the first few pages, and signed on the last page. Should I be asking the SS if some pages are missing, or is this common?

Look at the very bottom of the page, there should be a place for the borrowers signature. I have had several HUD's that are only one page. Sometimes the signature line is hard to see.

Quite often, in refinances, a HUD-1A is used. This is a HUD without sellers and typically is only one page. Most often there is a signature at the bottom of the page. Sometimes, not. If not, then there usually is a HUD-1 Amendment somewhere in the package that would need to be signed.

To PAW: Re: HUD Settlement Statement

PAW,
I checked the form number and it IS a HUD-1A. There is not a signature line at the bottom, but there is no HUD-1 Amendment in the package either. I'm thinking I'll need to check with the SS concerning this.
