Same here. I got a call from Professional Settlement Services today. They called last week and left a voice mail and I checked them out on the board this weekend. When they called me back today, I let her have it, she was so fast to get off the phone, she did not want to hear all that I had to say.

I told her that I have been doing this for 5 years and did not need the numerous phone calls, faxbacks, low pay and slow pay issues. She kept saying OK, Thank You, OK, Thank You That's OK,

I sure she has been hearing this a lot lately

The sad part is she probably called someone else and they are doing it for $50. It is frustrating, I know!

I usually tell these companies I do not do faxbacks and I get them waived more times than not. Although I'm in an area where I am pretty much the only notary around. I also get more than the fee they usually want to pay and am happy to get my check in a couple of weeks. They gave me a chance to do my first reverse mortgage and were very helpful.
