Hmmm, I'm wondering if anyone else...
here, has received a letter from the NALDP ( http://www.naldp.org ).
I am also wondering if the bible thumper (V'ring) who recently claimed to have some 18,000 notaries in her database has anything to do with this? Or, maybe better yet, she has some competition.
Here is the gist of their letter:

No I didn't read your whole post. Why? I'll tell you. If we aren't supposed to bash any religous philosophy; that includes Christianity. I haven't read Ms. Rings book nor do I wish to; not because of her beliefs but because of her misinformation at the NNA convention. But refering to her as a bible thumper is a derogetory term. Leave the religous bashing off the boards.

Been there done that. It was just as offensive then as it is now. The point is not Ms. Ring and her views. The point is bashing religion is wrong. Using derogetory terms regarding different religions is wrong. If I knew your religion I'm sure I could slur it but that would be WRONG. You may not have thought of your comment as a bash but it doesn't change the fact that is was.

I read your post. In response to your question, no I did not get that email. I did log on to their page and requested more information. It seems somewhat interesting, yet I don't think it may be related to VR.

it was not an email that I got from them. It was, in fact (as I mentioned earlier)
a regular snail mail letter, complete with an application for membership, and a
"Certificate of Membership" (huh ?) as well. That's why I wondered in the first place.

Victory Ring does have some merit.. granted we all have our own faith.
Notary Public ... in general does not require faith
it requires someone that stands by what they witness
there is very little religion involved in that ................ period
its not a matter of god or country ...
its a matter of ........... you say John P.Q Doe sign XYZ document
I tell you now ... i have the money and the backing ....
I will be glad to PRE PAY you for signings .... as you accept them by my guide lines
1. they have a DnB account
2. they have a 30 day to pay record .
Give me 20 mins ill print you a WEB PAGE and an email that tells you anything you wanna hear ....
PROOF and thier DATABASE .... dont make them special
