How would you sign this?

on a compliance agreement, I signed and then it says:

Notary Public residing in: ______________.

Ok, I live in one county and did the sigining in another county.
I haven't seen this before. I would probably put the county
where I live. What would you do? l Thank you for your help.

Seeing how it clearly reads "Notary Public residing in:" I would have put the county I reside in.
I too have never seen this before. I'm not sure why they would care what county we (the notary) reside in.

In some states, notary commissions and licenses are maintained at the county level, so county of residence is somewhat germane. Other states, such as FL, commission notaries at the state level (though notaries in 49 states have statewide jurisdiction - LA being limited to certain parishes) and all notaries in FL are Notaries At Large.
