Too little business or too busy? I'm still getting myself out there to companies and I'm stuck with a rather large TC/Lender out of the Detroit area where my contact guy quit. Let me know if I can help. I'm looking for any runoff for a strong EOM myself.

I got a call at 10 p.m. Saturday (unusual, but EOM) seems that the schedulers at the SS didn't bother to find someone for 15 Monday closings and just left Friday at 5 p.m.

Well my closing was scheduled for 4 p.m. yesterday, finally got the docs at 2 p.m. (over 30 miles one way) not a problem, with the exception that my printed gave me the bird. So called a Office Max near the borrower and emailed the docs to them. I get there they print them out, get to the borrowers and they are their 2nd, no 1st. (didn't have time to double check) call the SS have them email the 1st to Office Max, go pick the up finish the signing and got home around 9 (4 p.m. closing)

When I got up this morning, looked at my email, there was additional docs sent at 3:30 (no way of knowing they were there).

EOM with everyone rushing, mastake are made (big ones sometimes) and I just hate it.

Ouch. Try Kinko's. They have a great print on demand service also. When you send the job to them you can request separate bundling of the docs. Works great. No muss no fuss. Which SS is this you signed with and are they looking for more notaries. I'm in MI (Eaton) as well.

Please make sure the company that contracted you is okay with your using Kinko's, etc. Not all companies agree to this. That said, I've had a TC email docs to Kinko's for me on several occassions so I wouldn't have to go back to my desk to get docs.
