ok ok so they pay on time who cares when its just pennys on the dollar? My time, labor, and equipment are much more valueable than their $50 closings. I get a call today to do an overnite package for them. Ok so I tell them my base fee which they just met a week ago. Well things are tight and we cant give u that fee. Yeah well u did last week "muffin" just as u called me on the phone. Things changed that quickly? WOW! Gag me now please. Then she proceeds to say well its only 15 mins from you. To which I reply.... Yeah and my doc is across the street from the hospital and I dont expect him to reduce his fee for me. Do u? Well no she says. Well then you get my answer you minumum wage 18 yr old clueless "sugar plum" as she also called me on the phone. End result... I said well sure ull find a notary for 50 bucks but just be farwarned when they screw it up like most new incompetent and uneducated notaries who think they are going to make alot of money doing just minute side work do and u have to call me back my fee just doubled and is now 120 to complete it. And to think she couldnt even get that. Oh and btw--- I did get another call from them and guess what my fee is now lol hehehe. Treat me like a professional and pay me like a professional and ill speak with you like a professional and give you professional service.
Sorry to any of the new, but competent signing agents out there. I dont want to come across as overly bitter or annoyed becuase of new competition. Unfortunately, I have been cleaning a lot of messes up as of late that are very basic things. Yes ,Im making money, but at the same time someone is tarnishing this industry with their ways.
Thank you Harry and this wonderful board to let me vent.
Sorry to sound maybe a little incoherent here folks but I really needed to just vent with the thoughts coming out and right onto the fingers and to the keboard and may not be in the most gramtical sense.

yeah, I agree....it's just like this....
I have two resturant owners, as neighbors, living on my cul-de-sac....if they deliver I still get the delivery charge like everyone else.
(but sometimes when I go to them, I don't have to pay or get something sent to the table for free but that's just because I'm likeable and they see me not the 18 year old with the car that leaves an oil mark in my driveway in the summer!)
