Becca, I got this same email a day or so ago. Funny, I didn't want to be in their database either.

Wow, it was just a "bad experience, eh?"
I think they're idiots.

They have called me twice and I got the same email today. I told them on the phone, in no uncertain terms that I did not want to work for them ever. I told them I did not need a babysitter, did not do faxbacks and did need all the phone calls and handholding. I also said I did not work for their fees. The girl I spoke with could not get off the phone fast enough. Then they called again the next week and I got the same email today. I replied back with the same answer.

Well, let's hope all of you do better with other potential clients that calls and try, at least, to get your normal pay schedule before you send them rudely away.
If you don't how are you ever going to know if they will meet your expectations, and send you work you can accept and agree to the terms of?
I've even had SOX pay $150 for edoc cases, and had NO trouble getting paid. Maybe it's because when they first called I was cordial and willing to have a new client IF they are will to meet my needs, too.

Re: Just in my Email Re: Professional Settlement Services...
I never received an email from them, but did a last minute signing back in January after they met my fee. Have not received payment yet and was told my check was"returned" to them. After verifying my address, (which was correct), they said they would mail it out last Thursday. Called them yesterday and was told today that if I don't receive a check by Tuesday to give them another call. I will never work for them again!

Becca, I sent her a scathing email yesterday outlining my reasons for not wanting to be in her database either. I told her the PSS has a horrid reputation and I wasn't wasting my time on them. Thanks, but no thanks.
As for being cordial to the dead-beat companies when they call, I'll be cordial, but I'm still not working for free.
