Less SS calls and more TC calls

The past 2 months I've been getting less SS calls (except EOM) and more lender and TC business. Does anyone else see this trend?

Yes, mee too! Thank God! The TC/Lenders pay A LOT more than the SS ever will.

Same here, I love it when they schedule a few days in advance, I have been getting more on schedule and less last minute.
There are actually a few SS I really enjoy working for, I have 3 that schedule at least 3 days in advance, helps my schedule.

Me too. I have had more and more nationwide TCs call drectly, as well as lenders calling quite a bit to establish that one-on-one relationship. There has been only one TC call and try to low ball for a clsg. they wanted completed for $60.00.

Cris, where are you in AR?

Yep... but some of the more recent calls have been lowballing the fees. It's like they've figured out that most Signing Agents will do E-docs for $100 for an SS and that's all they want to pay.

I had to change my pricing. Based on my own little business analysis... I have one fee (adjusted by zip code) that I charge and I don't change it. SS... TC... It's what I feel is a fair fee that I will work for. If the SS want to find somebody cheaper then that's OK by me.

I should include that I am in an area that is very spread out. It becomes VERY DIFFICULT to negotiate pricing when the COST for each signing is high. That's why I just set the price based on the area and stick to it.

The only accounts that I have that are about double the norm are when I work directly for Countrywide but they take 3 months to pay!

Re: Angelina....where in AZ are you?

I am south of Tucson. I work from Tucson down to Mexico and then east to New Mexico. You are outside Phoenix aren't you? How's the weather... we are dying for rain! I go up there to the Pointe South Mountain Resort every summer... the one with the Resort and the Water Park. WE LOVE IT! I also LOVE the Arizona Mills Mall. I take the kids shopping all day... we spend to our hearts content... eat at the Rainforest Cafe and then blast the music all the way home.

I was actually born and raised in Tucson. I've been in Chandler for 9 years. No rain here yet...its been a dry 133 days. Its' cloudy today and you can smell rain in the air-it just dries up before it hits the ground.
