Re: March- Good for you Ray...excellent

The entire month of March has actually been busy for me also and I have been paying strict attention to the weather as to not schedule anything when the snow is expected. I have turned down work due to the anticipation of weather. I keep CHP log and Cal Trans web up and continually check the roads, a signing to me is never worth venturing out with poor weather conditions. I was doing a signing Friday, the signer wanted to meet in a bar type place, I arrived, got a cup of coffee, he arrives shortly, nice man, appeared to know everyone in the place, very chatty with entire staff, as we are doing the signing, he stops to talk with folk,. I'm looking out the window watching the snow get heavier and thinking I need to get the hell out of here and down the mountain before it really gets bad, not so much the snow as the fog on the mountain can be so treacherous. He's now ordering his third glass of wine, coherent at all times, he's doing a reverse mortgage. He'd share this with everyone in the place...lordy get me out of here.
On the mountain if weather is bad there is a chance FedEx won't pickup but since I had to go down to get hubby anyway, I was dropping the package myself. Nothing feels quite so good as when your done and you drop that package off....
I got a call last week to do a signing in Green Valley Lake, I told company no, we have a lot of snow here and the road to Green Valley will have a lot of ice, so unless the signing is mid day when the ice is somewhat melted, no can do. She said she had been hearing this from other notaries, I said well it's true and not worth an accident.
Long answer to your question, yes March has been very very good to me also.
