Mario with notary exchange please contact me
Hi Mario, I've seen your postings here so I'm hoping you are a regular. I did a signing for you on Feb. 2 in Tracy, ca and have not been paid yet. I have sent you an e-mail and left you a message but have not heard from you yet. I know that with most companies standard payment is within 2 weeks to 30 days. Please contact me regarding my payment. My contact info should be in your system, if not please e-mail me at [e-mail address]. Thank you, Maria Castillo

*** most companies standard payment is within 2 weeks to 30 days. ***
most companies do not pay within 2 weeks, unless you are dealing with a TC that does issue payment quickly. Within 30 days also is not what most do. Some do. Many companies think nothing of paying out as far as 45 days. They all have different policies.
Posting a message like that may inflame the company and lose you a contact in the future.

The only payments I received that quickly are from title companies. A signing service closing completed on Feb. 2 is not considered late by most SAs until at 45 days. Your post is not appropriate and will most likely cost you business. Not just with this company but with any other that may read this board.

And sometimes not even TC!
I have a well known TC right now that owes me for a signing on 1/2. They told me that they don't pay until the 15th of the following month, then send the checks out on a rolling basis. What the heck is that supposed to mean???

It means you must "roll over and beg" to get paid! n/m

Why would you post this? Have you tried contacting him. He is very good about getting his emails and replying. I did a signing for him in June and was paid about three weeks later. You shouldn't post what you said until you have exhausted all other resources.

I have tried contacting him via e-mail and phone with no return call. If I am mistaken with the payment dates I do apologize. For those of you jumping to conclusions... I am not trying to leave negative remarks, just simply trying to get a hold of Mario so he can go over the Notary Exchange policy with me. But thank you for your concern.

Don't know how long you've been in business, but one of the many advices to newbies is having some kind of reserve for situation like this. Your posted sounded as if you are desperate or there is conflicted issue between you and NE. I've worked with Notary Exchange and never a problem with payment or communication.

So you've called him, emailed him, and posted a message on this board because you haven't received payment 28 days after the signing? That really is ridiculous. I agree with the others, you've probably just cost yourself any future business with this company. Smart move.

I understand your frustration but ...
... something to the effect of "Mario of Yada Yada Signing Service, if you happen to see this message, please call me at the number in my contact info blah-blah-blah."
Better than airing your dirty laundry in public. It's called "tact."

Quit knocking this posting. It's for your own good that these companies be posted so we know that they are slow or no pay people. I have a invoice from Jan 19, 2006 and their fax does not pick up, their phone picks up on a answering machine but they do not respond. They may have been a good company in the past but this is today. We all have bills to pay and expect to be paid in a reasonable time frame.
