Marketing Trackking - thought...

I you set up a dif. email addy at every place you had your "sign" out, you could skip asking where did you get my name.

I just changed my email address on not rot and it made me realize that every time I hear "is your email still ___" I will know if it came from not rot.

This is something I plan to pursue. That way I can keep up with where they got my name in case I forget to ask.

This is a clever idea, but lets say that you have your "sign" out with many different advertising services, that's going to be quite a few emal addy's.

I'm operating under the assumption that you are talking about having a different email addy with every place you go to advertise, therefore eliminating the need to ask "where'd ya find me?" Am I correct?

I use the "tactic" by using two email addresses. One is for Paralegal work, the other is for Notary Public work.

Yes - I often forget. I would only use this for more pricey services. Those at $19.95 / year or less are so cheap that I will keep them no matter what once I get one referral from them.

Korey - Thrifty gf's are the best. I could tell a story or two about my son's gf's but then I'd have no son. Smile

I like that idea. I think I will adapt it as well. Thanks for the marketing ideas.

I used this marketting strategy when I started. Unless you can keep up with the multiple email addys, otherwise make sure you tell the scheduler your main email to receive confirmation/docs when s/he confirmed. Days like EOM can be a bit of a challenge trying to jump between emails, especially when edocs are late.

IMO...I think this marketting idea is more beneficial to new agents so they can reconcile when renewal is due. It would only means more work if you already have a well established customer base.
