My first cancellation...REVISITED

I would like to revisit Jersey_Boy's post. I am aware he did not put my company name's on the post which is greatly appreciated but I felt the need to reply.

Jersey_Boy did not mention that the reply came after our conversation in which I had offered to pay half the agreed fee for the signing if it did not close. Since this was not acceptable to Jersey_Boy, I sent him a reply confirmation to his e-mail indicating that the assignment was no longer assigned to him because he did not want to accept the cancellation fee and I am not in the position to pay a full fee - if I do not receive payment for the loan not closing that day.

There are times of course, if there is clear misrepresentations of the loan product from what the borrower requested, etc. - I will go to my client and request the required fee to pay the NSA for the services rendered but this may not be the case in each situation.

The NSA's that work with me in the Central Jersey area will let you know that I pay well and I pay them twice a month. My fees are comparable to the good signing companies and as noted in the contract, fees can be negoitated at the time of the signing request. I am a NSA myself, so I understand time is "money".

I extend my apology to Jersey_Boy for not informing him of the trip fee in our initial conversation. Although in our conversation, I was going to send separate e-mails with the confirmation and the applicable contractor agreement, which I did. I understand his position and his option to not accept the agreement or terms.
