What kind of loan was it? Did you have to do any printing or were the docs sent to the bwr?

Are you kidding? What does it matter who had the docs? I wouldn't drive 70 miles one way for $90 even if all i had to do was throw the docs out of my car window onto their driveway.

You are one of those nuts who wants to make your business into a profit enterprise, aren't you? Rude, rude, rude.

Their top fees before were $115 & $140 (shipped/edocs, respectively). Then last week, it went to $110/$130. As of Monday...they have...brace yourself...lowered their fees to $65/$90!!! I was actuallly speechless. This was one of my biggest clients, and my fees just got practically cut in half! This is in response to their competitors lowering their rates (ie. Lenders First Choice). They make bogus promises of "you'll get more work". They are full of you know what... I think I need to find a new business.

They can get away with this in area's like CA. Not here in Maryland or other states that require additional licenses.

What a deal for them, no matter how you figure it...even if they gave you MORE work, you would be going in the deep hole deeper and deeper. Consider your actual mileage cost of over 50 cents per mile according to AAA. 140x.50 = 70.00. Actual costs factors in things like auto maintenance, depreciation as well as gas and oil.
PS Snow is gone (for now) here in Minneapolis.

Me too Traci......they have been pestering me to death all week offering BS fees.....they can kiss my a** til those fees go back to where they were. Mr. "Ocean Pines" can run all over the shore for a lousy $90 bucks..... you can bet I wont be doing it.... Heard he took one in Kent Island yesterday for $75. What an idiot.....
