New Agent doing a signing with Country Wide
I have done three signings with SS but not one directly with country wide, most companies have paid approximetely $50-75, I am doing the signing in their office they are going to prepare the documents. I did a search for before posting but did not get the answer I was looking for. The question is how much should I charge. I don't want to short change myself or the industry, but I also want to make sure I get return business from them. Also if anybody has done signing for them and there is something I shoudl look for please let me know. I have completed three signing and so far everything looks good, but all three documents were different, but I had time to prepare. I will arrive an hour before the signing to look over the documents, just want to know if there is something I should look for.
Thanks

Depending on your area , but for me $50-75 is too low for CW edocs. You have to know your base. Were you thinking of giving a discount or charging more because of direct work?
If you were thinking of giving a discount I think just stay w/ your $75(maybe $85) for the CW. My opinion only, good luck to you.

Please confirm for me: You are going to an actual local Countrywide Home Loan office to do a signing for them, is that correct? If so, what state is that in? I approached my local CW office and they told me they can't do that in-house. I would be anxious to know if I could revisit that possibility.

Just a note about Countrywide they can be very picky about their signings, so if your not sure about something ask for clarification before preceding with docs. Good luck!

If its one of their full spectrum refi's, you can expect at least 130+ pages. That means that much more time you have to spend with them. IMHO, id be looking near $100 for that as PB stated, they are picky.

for someone posting about the "industry" it certainly
is all about you, isn't it?
Glad you're not at MY collective bargaining table.

you all charge to little countrywide loans that I have done I charge 150.00 for e-docs and 100.00 if overnight because they seem to be a little heavy on the paper end such as one was 130 sheets not counting the borrowers copies. they pay it without any problem
