New Signing Agent in Michigan seeking business and advice

Hey all. I'm a new Mobile Signing Agent in Michigan and I'm wanting to grow this business. I just dont know exactly which way to go about it. Anyone have any ideas about marketing strategy to title and mortgage companies? Is face time, cold calling, email, registering with more and more databases, or mailing campaign best? I'm with one company now and the business is great when its great and sucks when its slow and a trickle. How much should I charge? Should I set additional fees for quit claim deeds, trust docs etc or is a standard fee best? Hit me with your sage advice because I am interested and want to succeed.

Soon,

Jahari

do everything that you mentioned. Marketing is key. See message 33325, sign up with all the 3+ rated companies here and anywhere else you can. Set your fees as a standard for whatever pkg you close and distance willing to travel, - re-fi, purchase, HELOC...e-mailed docs etc. Get your name out there.

Is that Alcatraz in the background?

Welcome Jahari,

Also, as for marketing, you can get a lot of good ideas from entreprenuer.com and of course, reading through past posts here on Notary Rotary - which will give you more business related info.

Charm, you really are instructor Kluso - the Alcatraz question. Smile

Where did you go? My favorites in include the Pacific Cafe up in the Avenues but the one at Ghirardelli Square if real good and then there is the Water Front just North of Market on the Embarcadero. Of course the Waterfront is great for everything, I really like their Steak Meuniere with fresh peppercorns.

marketing is the key and patience

Jahari,
It will take time to build a solid clientele but be patience, read these boards daily; be patient. Don't take any work from the no pay companies.... you'll learn about these as you read. I'm in Michigan to so call me if you have any questions.

take care
take charge and
God Bless
Allison
