Newbie open for any and all advise

Hello everyone, I am a newly appointed Notary in PA., my name is Sharon and I live in PA. I'll be checking this board alot so any helpful tips on how to keep from being screwed for payment or anything else would be great.
I'm also looking for some great marketing ideas-what's the best way to get my name out there?
My ultimate goal to be able to work from home offering signing and bookkeeping services. Thanks for listening and very nice to meet you all !!

First of all welcome aboard. The best advice I can give you is know your state notary laws, check out post 33325, use the search feature for any specific questions, sign up with the companies listed in the signing central tab until you can't see anymore and in your spare time, start at the very beginning of this forum's message board and read. You will gain lots of insight and knowledge. You'll need to sign up with at least 200 companies to get started and don't contact title companies until you're experienced at what you do, they are most unforgiving of mistakes.

Thanx Very Much. What? Nobody likes the newbies? I have been a paralegal for a lobg time and know the kind of bs involved in this kinda of career, thanx for the warnings, i'll be sure to utilize them, and thanx for the tips too.
