Whenever someone says, turn your speakers up, it helps, I err on the side of caution. There a a few version of these things out and, man, even when you know it's coming, you can't help but leap out of your chair. I'm just glad no one is sitting near me because I might rearrange their nose.

Angelina, I like jokes, too, but I agree with you.
With all the messages on this board about people recovering from ailments as serious as a heart attack, I really do wonder sometimes what people are thinking ....
I guess I am well on my way to becoming an old 'fuddy-duddy.' It hurts to even think that. :-(

Re: Angelina, I like jokes, too, but I agree with you.
I'll take on the moniker of resident fuddy-duddy for this one Rick. I got that same feeling just from the face on the screen and the scream that I did when I was a kid and only heard the movie from the other room when my mom was watching it. Now I did see the movie about 10 years ago and I just thought to myself what mother would allow thier child to do that movie. I would be traumatized seeing my daughter made up to look like that knowing the subject matter of the film. Now just to qualify that remark I once entertained the idea and still do sometimes when I was doing hair that I would have loved to get into doing make up and hair for movies like the Freddy Kruger ones. But then I made the choice not to work 16 hour days out of the home.
