OT - CA Real Estate Salesperson Principles class flashcards

I am looking for flash cards for the CA Real Estate Principles course. They may not even exist but before I get index cards and make my own ... I know they are out there for the RE Practice section but I haven't looked everywhere. Thanks

This is not a good time to go into Real Estate. Market is going down. Don't waste your money.

Good Morning!

E-Bay currently has the cards. You can also checkout some of the online real estate schools (i.e. Kaplan, Anthony, Allied etc. . .).

If you are preparing for the test, I would also recommend purchasing the videos or dvds, as well as the various written test materials!

i saw that Ebay had tons of texts but I didn't see just

flashcards for the Principles course alone. I will check out these other schools. Thank for the ideas.

Hello!

Just type in Real Estate Flash Cards. The cards are called "Real Estate Practice" flash cards, which can be used for the principles class! I know there is a separate real estate practice class too, but in this case, the word practice is somewhat misleading.

Please Keep me updated!

I saw those cards and I...

emailed the seller. He said they were for CA and updated but hasn't answered my second email as to whether or not they are just for Principles, Practice, or all in one. I might be confused but I thougt I would find flashcards for each class not just one big set for the whole final state exam.

Hi Again!

Hi Again!

In my opinion the flash cards aren't really that helpful ( I purchased mine through e-Bay). I took the exam in October 2003 and passed the first time (I am a licensed Real Estate Agent).

In order to pass the exam you need to study literally hundreds of test questions and to memorize those questions and their answers!

As one of my instructors told me, the majority of California's Real Estate exams are recycled over and over again (although there is one new test issued in 2004 which, at that time, was said to be the hardest!). These exams are very similiar to the DMV tests, in that they are constantly repeated!

I purchased real estate videos via e-Bay, as well as test manuals (with answer keys). I also went to Borders and purchased test books (with answer keys).

And I took time off work and studied for hours upon end, until I knew the majority of questions and answers (via both the videos and books)!

When I took the test, sure enough, the majority of the material I had studied, was also on the test (although the wording may have been slightly changed)!

Please feel free to e-mail or telephone me!

Pam

Re: I am grateful for your help, Pam..Good ideas Pam!

Pam's recent licensing certainly gave more timely answers. I took my tests over 20 years ago. I find however that even for tests I have to take now it helps considerably to have a study buddy. Find someone who is taking the test at the about the same time and study together because studying with someone else makes your knowledge much more secure.

The pleasure is mine! A carreer decision is a personal

matter and just because one did not find stisfaction with their choice is no reason to try and dissuade another for their choice. Real estate is just like all other businesses and subject to the same 80/20 rule where 20% of the realestate agents make 80% of the income. You have to make a personal choice as to whether you have the tools to make it happen. Don't let the nay-sayers get you down. I have a friend who only does REOs and I haven't seen him smile in four years: he's grinning like a Cheshire Cat at the prospect of the market softening!

SignerCA Date Corrections! And- You Are Very Welcomed!

Good Morning!

I took the Real Estate Exam September, 2004.
It was the 2005 exam which was said to be the hardest!
In August 2005, I actively began in real estate sales
(I was on temporary Worker's Comp. disability until released in the end of July, 2005.).

However, I've learned in recent months, that it's MUCH BETTER to have your Broker's
license (which I will be returning to school later on this year) because having a broker's license will make you MUCH MORE independent!

It's also good to be trained in other real estate areas, such as loans (I also intend to be trained as a Loan Officer). In this way, no matter which way the market sways, you will
still make a Very Good living!

And You Are VeryWelcomed!

Have a Blessed Day!

Pam

That's exactly why I am getting my license...

I don't want to sell houses but I want to find other areas within the mortgage industry that I can make a living. I figure getting my license should/might give me a leg up so to speak. I do not have experience in the RE area like many who started out at an early age and have worked their way up and so I need all the licenses/certifications I can get. I have only an AA so the Broker's license is out of the question now.
