Personal Data Privacy and Security Act of 2005...
Here is the link to the Bill that we've been discussing. The main thing that concerns me is this part..
"(b) Exceptions- No requirement or prohibition may be imposed under the laws of any State with respect to any subject matter regulated under section 301, relating to individual access to, and correction of, personal electronic records."
So, if this thing goes thru then who do we listen to? The state or the feds? And how does it relate to enotarization? Surely the states will now have to update the notary laws? Talk about the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing....I can't wait to see how the lender's handle it. By the time thier done we'll be required to give the borrower a cavity check....

2nd link in case the 1st one doesn't get you there...
the first link might not work for all. You can use this one:
http://thomas.loc.gov/
It will take you to the home page. The bill number is S.1789.RS....and you have to type it in exactly that way under "bill number search".

So, you bought into tha NNA and their whole Enjoya BS? (Sorry, Pops) Good luck on that one panning out any time soon. Enotarizations are a little more complex than the NNA would like you to belive.
50 States - ??????? Counties - All in compliance??????? Yeah Right. Maybe in my lifetime. Heck, some counties in Tennessee still don't have public records online.
