Pinnacle Real Estate...

...called today for a loan closing on Saturday, overnight docs for $50.00. What are these people thinking? As if it being local makes a difference!!! When I quoted my price, Debra said she was going to shop around. The real sad part to this story is that she found someone to do it for $50.00.

I know this has been revisited over and over (as recently as 02/02/06), but my family, time, equipment, supplies are worth so much more than $50.00.

This is becoming an ugly trend. What I don't get is why they don't consider time, supplies, travel if any. 9 times out of 10 those who take these low ball fees don't even bother to read the HUD and see that over 75% isn't going into their pockets! Doesn't that bother them? No amount of volume will make up for that fact. The SS, TC will always be further ahead. I am not asking for more, I am asking for a fair fee. I have been turned down for more signings this week for that reason. They wanted to pay $65 to travel 58 miles one way. I told them my fee and they never called back.

Re: Pinnacle Real Estate... Which one?

I found one to be good and one to be cheap. Which location is this?

It was a 949 area code.

I've done some for them. Never had a problem. Never less than $125. Don't know why you were offered such low fee. I find them good to work for.

It is in San Clemente, CA just down the street from where I

live. I only did one for them and I considered it a lower fee than my usual, but I was hoping for more local biz from them, hasnt happened yet.

That is why I stopped working for those losers well over a year ago. They still call and almost choke when I quote my fee. Last time they said "gonna have to keep trying but will call back if supervisor approves" I tell them it will be an additional $50 when they call back. Every once in awhile they call back when they are in a bind and then they plead for the original price I quoted.
