Power of Attorney

How can I authenticate ? (one signed prior to signing?)
This is not part of my duties right?

(If POA is in front of me)
TIA!

I had one in front of me, I honestly do not believe it was the real thing. Not my call ??

Not enough info, Cris. Were you asked to notarize this POA? Or was it given to you at a loan signing so that somebody could sign for someone else?

Lee, it was given to me at a signing. No way would I notarize the poa without the person in front of me.

You got that right! Besides (if I'm reading between the lines correctly) Title/Lender will not accept any POA they haven't already seen & approved. LOs & SS will tell ya' anything.

Thanks Lee,the ball is in thier court now.
I HATE dishonesty period.

For the most part the signings go well, it is the few that make me wonder if I should be doing this at all.
