Pre-dating question revisited.
A while back a question was posted on the legalities of performing a pre-date notarization (i.e dating the 12th on the 10th).
I was speaking with an attorney who was previously employeed by the NJ Dept. of Banking. I posed this question to him and his answer is that it is 100% illegal.
Just wanted to pass the info along. Thanks!

Back dating and post dating a notarial act is in fact illegal. The ongoing discussion here is the legality of a future dated document.

I understand, I am actually refering to dating the documents with a future date. Not the printed date on the docs.
I believe this issue was brought up a few weeks, if not months ago.
