Prepayment Penalty Rider; Part of the NOTE?

I have this package that has a NBS. DOT,TIL,RTC,ITEMIZATION OF A. F.,DOCUMENT C. AGREEMENT
have the NBS signature line, but not the prepayment penalty rider, is that because its part of the note?

but... can also be part of the mortgage/DOT. I hve had it both ways with different lenders.

Usually they have the riders checked on the DOT - page 2. You can refer there.

Also, you can read the rider and it will reference the document it belongs with.
