Rating of SS question...
I am not sure if you guys are willing to share but I was wondering how an SA rates a SS on Not Rot (its the process that I am referring to). The reason I am asking is our company rating went from a 5 to a 4 1/2 and I was just curious to find out what is involved with the rating process and if there is anyway I can find out why our rating went down. I would just like to know so that I can improve on whatever area we may be lacking in. Any input you guys have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Sherry, I don't know how to do the rating process mainly because I haven't taken the time to. But I will say I have worked for you before and you have a first rate company in my book. 5 stars go out to you.

I appreciate that Cyndi. Always nice to here positive feedback. On the same note, if an SA is unhappy about something I would really like to know so that I can address the situation. Cant get far in this business if I have SA's upset with me...

I think we have a responsibilty for our business, and out of respect for others to let them know if a problem arises. IMHO. There have been time when I will call someone to let them know of a problem only because if I were in that other persons shoes, I would want to know. BTW this applies to upstanding Companies.

I think that is only fair because if we dont know there is a problem, we wont be able to fix it if need be.

Sherry, I don't know about everyone else, but I rate SSs based on several things.
The fee I was paid, and if the company was flexible with their pay offer. If they lied to me. How much babysitting. How quickly I was paid.

Sherry. I rate the following way.
Very few companies would I rate as exceptional. But this is what I look at. How do they treat me on the phone. How much hand holding do they want to give me. Based on Fax backs. And then pay. But pay is really secondary to me.
But I will say that what I can tell by the board you seem to be above average or exceptional.

I have worked for this company. (as well an many others) In my opinion they (SLB) are first rate. I would work for them again, anytime. If one looks at some of the topics, and responses on this "chat board" it is obvious that there people (notaries) out there with varied skills, knowledge, and experience. I believe you need only worry about what notaries that have actually WORKED for you have to say. The experienced SA's out there know you guys are good, and those that think different ....who cares?

Wow...I am truly appreciative of your feedback..
Although it was not the intention of this post..it really feels good to hear that we are taking care of you guys. I am truly blessed to have top rate schedulers representing SLB. It is nice to know that they are treating you well. What is really great is that all of us at SLB have the same philosophy...we are only as good as the people who represent us and if we arent taking good care of our SA's as well as our clients than we arent doing our job.
