What actually gets recorded in loan docs? I know the DOT does but what about anything else we notarize? Besides Grant Deeds.

Della..

Normally Deeds, Mortgages/DOT's, POA and Trust/Trust Certs if the Mtg/DOT is signed by TTEE or POA. The TC junk docs generally do not get recorded.

Did that make sense?

Re: Della..

Don't forget that occasionally (very rare, but does happen) and Name/Signature Affidavit may also be recorded with the mortgage or a deed. There are also other forms that may be in the package that don't get "recorded", but the information does become a part of the public domain. Things like the tax status on the property, homestead filings and other information that the state/county tax office and/or appraiser office would gather and make public.
