Richmond Title Service in TX..
I received an email with an application that read their standard fees are 65 and edoc 20. Was just wondering if anyone did work for them and do they stick to their fees or are they flexible..tia.

My fees for Richmond are higher than that, and I've done many for them....no hand holding...Luv em.

I have only done one for them and the fee was higher, but I also received an e-mail a few days ago and it read that there were to be numerous fax-backs and that the notary is to call them as they leave for the signing appt. and again when the signing is finished, I would call that hand-holding. The e-mail read that "they will pay well for quality". I guess they consider fax-backs and extra phone calls to be "quality"

I've been doing work for them for a year and never once was requested to fax anything except for one CW full spectrum, by CW's request and was paid an extra fee for it.

Some companies may request you to do things they don't ask of everyone else because they want to "check" your work first. (Just be sure you charge accordingly). I wouldn't let this prevent me from working with them because once they see I know what I am doing, we can discuss leaving out such procedures as faxbacks for future signings. JMHO

I had only one company that asked for a first timer for their company fax back. No problem ever since. Do it right and they they don't seem to bug you.

They are great and if fax back is required they will compensate, I enjoy working for them all the time.

Does anyone experience calls and then cancels? That's why I decided not to work for them. They had double booked a notary at least on one of the several times they called and then cancelled me. Finally I had proof of it and decided that would be my last.
Apparently, they have cleaned up their act in that regard. I think it could have been their scheduler at that time. It has been a year now.

I've done only two for Richmond, one took over two months to pay; they never apologized for the delay eventhough I called them a month after the signing and they said it had been sent; the other signing I did about two weeks ago. They said I should receive pmt in 30 days.
