SIGN ON THE X

This company has been the single most greastest company i have ever worked for... why do so many people have issues with them?

One is lack of telling the truth and holding up to their end of the deal - the pay part. Working with them during the signing is fine. Its afterward that the problem comes in.

Click the orange search button and type in either Sign on the X or SOX, that should answer your question. If you think they are such a great company, "why are you posting as anonymous"?

I could care less what you do. From your attitude, I suggest that you take all the work you can get from SOX. Sounds like you deserve such a wonderful company to work for.

I am a fairly new notary, i have not worked with that many companies yet, but the ones I have worked for, SOX included i have had no problems at all, with the closings or even the payment. they most of the time will acomodate with my fees and not only that they send me my checks. i only place anonymous for the exact reason of so many people whom i have seen disagree with me, i am simply stating that i do not have a problem with this company.

And this company is also affiliated with "Signatures Plus" - why not check out the BBB website about Signatures Plus and you will see the correlation. When I submitted my complaint to them, at that time SP was given a "C" with 12 complaints. A week or so later, they were given a "D" rating with 28 complaints from notaries. You can therefore, make your own assumption about this company. To me - THE WRITING IS ON THE WALL!

Re: To: 69.228.62.139 Anonymous

Now I know I am going to get verbally slapped from everyone on this board for this but I did two SOX signings going on two months ago and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Now I am sitting with both these invoices outstanding. Please inform me how you seem to get paid on time every time; I would appreciate the assistance. I am not being a smart.....*** I sincerely want to know what the magic is. Because by the time I add up all the faxing and calling my efforts will have costed me more. So please enlighten me and others. How does it work so well for you?

Re: JanelWI

Anonymous 69.228.62.139 either has 90 to 120 terms for receipt of payment on their invoices. Or, perhaps they are an employee of SOX making an anonymous statement, to try to gain credibility for their company. The other anon poster in this thread cannot locate the orange search button with the word "SEARCH" printed on it.

To Jane...

SLAP... SLAP... SLAP... Smile

I have never worked for SOX so I don't know if this will work but something that Anon said made me think of something regarding a different company.

He said he faxed the invoice at the end of the month.

I can't remember what company it was because I never worked for them again (too high maintenance) but I remember one SS who wrote on the confirmation... in very small print... that I had to fax the invoice between the 25th & 28th of the month to get paid. I did the signing around the 5th I think so I just posted it to my wall and sent it on the 25th with my W-9. I got paid 2 weeks later.

You might try sending it with your W-9 at the end of the month and direct it to Accounts Payable. Just a thought.

I'm like you... every once in a while I give somebody a 'shot in the dark'... sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't.

Re: To Jane...

Well... I read further down and saw that ANON worked for SOX so guess that theory is bogus. Sorry... and good luck! It's too bad that companies like this can't just pay on time... and earn a good reputation through doing good work... like we have to do.

Re: Well thanks for not answering my question...

Because I guess there is no answer. I am sure there are more than just horror stories out there. Yet other companies seem to manage to be consistent in their pay and fairness to notaries. That is not something that can not be said about SOX. The scale is tipped to the negative. Perhaps they are trying to change their reputation, but consistency in paying their notaries on time would go along way in fixing their rep. Perhaps you could pass that along to them.

Excellent work Winston_Tn EXCELLENT!

I thought I smelled a fish earlier today!

It is pretty freakin sad that an agent of SOX will come onto this board and pretend to be a satisfied customer/agent of SOX.

My network here in MA has boycotted them. Everyone should consider doing the same thing if you haven't done so already!

GET OFF THE BOARD YOU FLAMMING LOSER! I CAN ACTUALLY SAY THAT YOU, SOX, ARE NOT WANTED HERE!

You should be ashamed of yourself!!!! SOX has sunk to a new low!!!!!!! Crap on you!!

If you have been trying to get paid for your services and faxing, calling, emailing, and mailing has not worked do what i did report them to the www.labbb.org (Better Buisness Bureau) and in less then two weeks or about two weeks you will have your checked mailed. This is what I did and it WORKED!!!!!!

How long have you been with SOX? The problem I have with them is getting paid. I have sent my invoice many times and called many times, no return call and no check. At one time they were good to work for, but it seems they are having problems. They use you for a few closings and pay on time and then they start not paying. Be careful.
