There's a real good possibility of overnight snow and some tomorow. Where are you at Kate? Please don't say Big Bear.

Sarah We've had weather lately in the 70's...Yesterday we were expecting severe storms as the line was passing thru about 5:30pm. Sirens were going off everywhere and many towns were without power. The funny thing is that when I lived in Chicago, it seemed it would always snow big time on my birthday. Now down here, I'm also getting the brunt of Mother Nature. My hubby rented a limo to take us to a great seafood place, recommended by a co-worker. They (limo co) called him (I had no idea what was going on) to cancel, because they were scared to drive their 'high profile vehicles' last night. lol So we went out in the avalanche and most of it was past us by then. So glad we went, I now have a new restaurant that serves oysters, mussels and lobster.....oh my aching diet!

Oh Charm I wish I could have gone, I love all those goodies. Sounds like you had a great time. I sometimes have to sit and think about what age I actually am on my birthday because I've been saying "I'm 31 again" for a while now.

Re: SARAH CAN HE DELAY THIS TRIP, IT'S VERY BAD HERE
As important as it is to do the job they understand that until the snowing stops and road conditions improve it will have to wait. He's got plenty of other work that is just as important in other areas.

Re: SNOW-Oh Good, Monday should be better-does he come up
It depends on where he's coming from. He covers San Bernardino. If he goes up first thing he goes up the backside. I just like to give him traffic reports and conditions when I can. I know he already knows them, but hey I get to hear his voice. And there have been a couple of times where I helped him.

Re: Well, he is clearly used to driving up here then.
And yes I always check the road conditions daily.....and he must know how bad the fog/coluds get up here. I did a signing in Running Springs last night, the only reason I accepted the order was because the storm was suppose to move in today. WRONG, it took me over an hour to get home from Running Springs last, passing a number of accidents, visibility was about a foot , very scary......

Running Springs in the fog, not a good driving experience.

Worse yet- the entire mountain when fog moves in, and more so if one has never driven the mountain....brutal
