Regarding SOX...do they eventually pay ?

Has anyone been stiffed ? 4 months or more without payment ?

It took me 119 days to get my check...

and that was only after I reported to the BBB, sent them numerous collection letters and talked to their accounting dept. about 5 times.

You can do a search and see that yes, many notaries have been stiffed.

I honestly can't believe that anyone would work for a company that takes over 90 days to pay. In a thread below, I saw someone that still works for them even though they sometimes don't get paid for over 3 months. This is astonishing! By taking these signings, you're telling them that it's ok to do that. You're actually funding their receivables and I suspect they are laughing all the way to the bank.

Try waiting over 90 days to pay a bill-They will either shut you down, or turn you over to collections. That is exaclty what we should do to SOX.

Word of advice...don't do signings for them anymore. They are the worst signing service to collect your $$$ from.

I sent them a fax and priority mail a letter that I would be happy to email you. I did not get a response to the voicemail, email or fax but when she got my letter in the mail - she called me and told me a check was going out that day and I had the check 4 days later. It looks like I may have to do it again for the second one I did - before I realized they are a payment problem.
