Singing not Signing "Gotta Get Drunk" OT

Got the notary dogs all clipped up and bathed--now it's time for a little crazy talk.

I am soooo vain I think Willie Nelson wrote this song about me.

"Gotta Get Drunk"

Well I gotta get drunk and I sure do dread it
cause I know just what I'm gonna do
I'll start to spend my money
call everybody honey and wind up singing the blues
I'll spend my whole paycheck on some old wreck and brother I can name you a few
But I gotta get drunk and I sure do dread it cause I know just what I'm gonna do

I gotta get drunk I just can't stay sober there's a lot of good people in town
Who'd like to hear me holler see me spend my dollars
And I wouldn't think of lettin' 'em down
There's a lot of doctors that tell me that I'd better start slowin' it down
But there's more old drunkers than there are old doctors
So I guess we'd better have another round

Very Funny!

My "Notary dogs" are also sleeping tonight; Cocker Spaniel and a 1/2 Sharpei & Welsh Corgi (she's as big as the Cocker) She's a low riding Sharpei because she has the Sharpei face with all the wrinkles and the Corgi legs!!

These two watch my feet and my briefcase most of the day. If I am barefooted they know we are home bound; but if I put on shoes/and grab the briefcase they go to" full battle alert."

"Full Battle Alert" means there is no way I will get to the car without them!! The only time I don't bring them is the summer time in Riverside Ca because it is too hot and then they pout!

Did a signing on Thursday where there was a cat and the cat was really curious (Dud!) and it was sitting in my briefcase about 5 minutes later.

If you don't like animals don't get in this loan signing business!

Hope evryone has a great end of the month on Monday!!

Re: Very Funny!

Yes, Joan, I love my dogs. I have an appointment for the 30th for them (yeah, book in advance) to be groomed, but at $100 for two, I decided to start attempting to do a few of those grooming jobs myself.

Mine know barefeet is inside, thongs mean a quick round to take care of their business outside...maybe a swipe at the neighbors cat, but oh when the tennis shoes go on that means the mistress wants them to go check the neighborhood pee-mail. It seems they learn a lot of security intel by the quick stop and sniff.

Career minded dogs like these know they to trade off a sprinkle here and there; it's only fair they put the word out on what they have learned from informants, as well...keep a dialogue open.

Whatever activity occurs in this home all leads back to one thing. It's all about the dogs and their duty to protect their charge and her notarial base of operations.
