SoCal get together.
I just wanted to say how much fun it was meeting all of those who attended our luncheon. You are all lovely people and I'm looking forward to having another one a few months down the road. I will have the list ready hopefully, today and I will send it out to the attendees. Thanks for taking time out of your lives and sharing your experiences and knowledge. I know we all walked away with something useful, personal and business. Have a great day.

Cindy, when you talk to someone on a forum such as this, you kind of (and can't help it) put a face to the posters....Were you able to tell who people were by knowing their forum names? just curious. I picture everyone here, that doesn't have a profile pic of course.
When I was on a penny stock forum, I met many people through the years and some of my 'faces' based on personality and writing style were way off lol

I wish there were a way to see our pics as we chat. Saves the imagination from running rapant. I really try hard not to imagine, but sometimes it's impossible. The turnout was encouraging, and I'm sure there will be more to come. Thanks

Well I decided to sleep in. I hadn't slept in since we put the house up for sale. It sold last week. And it's a good thing because my brother dropped by unanounced. My brother lives in Hawaii and was out here on business. He was on his way from the base to the airport to go back to Hawaii. I wouldn't have been home to see him if I had went to the luncheon.

Cindy is right. It was great to get together yesterday. It was fun and nice to put faces with names. Charm I do the same as you I try to picture someone in my head and I have to say I wasn't to far off. LOL. I can't wait til the next one.

Hi Cyndi,
I regret that I was unable to attend the gathering held in Riverside this past weekend. I attended the notary meeting in Anaheim held earlier this year and I had a really great time. I took away a lot of info, and met a lot of neat people. I'll be looking forward to any information on the next gathering.

Thanks Charles. We missed you. I found out sooo much about people and this biz in general and I really feel like we all walked away with something. There has been much talk of organizing and I am hoping these gatherings can be a step in the right direction.

I missed being able to be there. Im heading South tomorrow and not a moment too soon: I feel like I should be growing webbed feet and feathers. It has benn one of the wost winters here on the Mendocino Coast since I moved here 17 years ago. I understand that you are having a little overcast there.
Anyway, the organizing will happen. The important things is to get a group of people together and star talking about the issues eventually things will happen: they alwasy do when people get together and talk.
