Just had a call from a Sox Signing, I believe that is what she said, is this the same Sox listed in all of the posts??? Area Code 607?

Well... unless if the caller said "You need to wear clean socks to the signing," if not... then yes it would be SOX.

SOX = CRIMINAL ACTIVITY

They called me the other day and asked if I still notarize loan documents. I told her yes, as long as it is from an attorney. She said that she just needed a "regular notary", not an attorney.

This woman was adamant that all she needed was a plain old notary public and was willing to pay a whopping 50 bucks for a re-fi package.

I tried oh-so-hard not to laugh at her......could'nt help it

I told the lady from SOX that I could refer her to someone. She perked up and said "oh Really, that would be great". Then I gave her the name and number to WVSOS

Yes same outfit. They called me the other day for a signing and I said I would, asked for pre-payment of fee to my PayPal account, they hung-up.

Go figure, and I was being professional about it too.

They did not meet my fee, was not sure if it was the same company, saw the area code and was curious.
Seems like lately I have a bunch of non-payment issues period, I have been self employed for 14 years and have never had such a problem.
