You can search the message #'s that LDD suggested and you can also type in SOX and get a ton of info....I have never been contacted by SOX, but from all the posts I'm glad I haven't.

Now I see what the frequent users are talking about...

I never understood why "old-timers" (those that have been a forum member forever) would "jump on" questions that seemed innocent.

I see the frustration now!! My eyes are open!! It does get monotonous to see the same "dumb" question spewed day after day after day.

In regards to my posts in the past where I would "yell" at the other members for allegedly "jumping" on the newbies... my apologies.

I see where you guys become frustrated.

Hey Korey I DID a search and couldn't find what I needed. Why is it that you feel that your so superior to everyone else on this site. I truly wish that notary rotary would ban you because your a royal pain _ _ the _ _ _!!! Oh and believe me I'm far from incompetent. I really haven't had much time to read the updated "Rules and Guidelines" lately because I'm too BUSY. Hope you have a GREAT rest of the day and thanks for your help!

You did a search and couldn't find out if anyone has worked for them? I typed in SOX and found 200 posts. This is the kind of thing that really cheeses our collective a$$e$. A lazy post, followed by an indignant response with a lame lie mixed in when you didn't get the easy answer. But I suppose you're too busy to actually care about the time anyone else has to invest to answer your question.

I have been working for this company for about 7 months and every month I get the same excuse for non-payment. "We haven't received your faxed invoice". Oh, but I have fax confirmations that I sent the invoices 4 times. "Well we must have fax problems, could you fax it to us again". Very unprofessional company. I quit taking signings at the start of March and they still call me and are pissed that I won't take a signing. One day they'll run out of good notaries and realize they can't do business without us. Problem is that there is too many notaries that don't know they're business practices and are just happy that someone is calling them for a deal. If you take a signing from these guys, expect not to get paid for a long time.....

I would like to thank most of you for your help. In reply to the negative responses; I am not a nasty person. Actually I think that I'm a very decent one. Can all of you negative responders tell me how you would feel if you were referred to as "INCOMPETENT" by someone that you have never met! Also I think that I have learned not to accept any closings from SOX.

In regards to number 1 & 3: Yes I am fat. I'm a fatty fat fat. I'm weighing in at 298 lbs.......... and # 3 I was childish for about 14 yrs of my life, and then about six months on this board. Things change as the seasons do.

So puleeze tell me what it feels like to be called "Incompetent" by someone you have never met. I don't think your incompetent, therefore I subtract that from my post above. I'll agree with MichiganAL, it was a "lazy" post followed by a lie.

You do sound like a decent person. Let me ask you this. If you had a dictionary sitting on your dining room table, but every day for two years someone asks you how to spell hippopotamus, would you start to get annoyed? And when you say, "there's the dictionary, right there," they say "oh, I looked and it's not in there," would you believe them? Then they get snippy with you because you had the gall to show them the dictionary instead of just spelling the damn word, would you feel a lack of gratitude for directing them to where they can find the answer? Got an idea of how we feel?

Personally, I have seen enough questions about SOX....I've been seeing messages just about daily for them...Please people, just punch the search button if you have a question just to see if it's been asked before, before you post it. It really gets annoying and I don't get annoyed easily.
