Thread 105378
is a perfect example of what is wrong with Notary Rotary; no, what is wrong with us as Humans.
Does anyone else see the incongruity here? We start out with a simple question by a known poster. Then someone (wise) realizes..."hey, this poster should know better!" (opinion).
Or maybe not. Maybe the poster has posted under other guises for the fun of riling up everyone. (Is riling a word?).
And even if the originator is another poster, so what? Yet, it's just too much fun to pass this one up. So we blast our opinion. Hey it feels good! And besides, this poster is trying to start trouble! I'm up to it...and so is Charm, Angelina, Beth, Lily, Brenda, Colleen, SarahBeth, Satomi's and soooo many others.
Yet we go nowhere as far as changing anything.
Yet we also go a LONG way as to our appreciation of each other! That's whats so nice and so cool about this place.
I am a committed member of this forum. I love the people here. I love the bantering, the love, the arguments and love the dedication to keeping this particular forum pristine. I even love the Frances McDonald's of the world; the JudyinLA's; the Korey's (sorry kiddo, you're doing great!) and many others. See, if you don't have the fools; you can't have the wisdom of the sage's.
I for one, just looooove the words. More, I love it that for some way wierd reason, my opinion counts for something. See, here's the deal: you get involved in something and you care, suddenly you become a member of the community; internet community or your local neighborhood watch; its all one in the same.
That community can be your neighborhood, your Starbucks, your kids soccer team, it doesn't matter. By caring, your a part of something.
Harry, are you reading? You are the owner of this deal - and there are those who are helping support you by giving a rat's ass. That makes you sucessful and and it gives us a place to blow off either steam, or humor or indignation. A give and take for sure Harry, but let's face it, the onus and the "buck" stops at your doorstep. (A fact that I know make you shake your head at times
The thread mentioned above is classic. The twists and turns are the very twists of this forum. It's stupid, funny, ridiculous, serious, well-meaning, and trashy, all in one.
Hey, long live Notary Rotary. Peace Out and Love.

Boy, lots of emotion tonight! I'm staying out of the original bar fight, but I'll just say that if anyone knows the history of a certain someone (who has posted under a couple different names on another forum), and how much assistance they've received, you'd know that Brenda wasn't off base in gently trying to tell this person that she should know this by now and why the response didn't sit well (But as Brenda said, she doesn't need defending).
But I too absolutely love it here. Every second of it. The stupidity, the whining, the helpful posts, the inane posts, the educational posts, the OTs, the camaraderie, the bickering, the nut cases, all of it. What a freaky little cyber world we have here. But is this really any different than what goes on in offices everywhere? We don't have co-workers and desks next to each other and all the stuff that happens at a 9 to 5 job, we've just got this place. I love the twists. A nasty post turns into a fun post, a simple question turns into a brawl, hi I'm new please help me, we're lemmings, yada yada. I sometimes see posts on the other forum complaining about this place, too many off topics, we're a clique, somebody was mean to them. But all of that is what makes this place so much more than just a lame place to post lame questions. I love this place. And hate it. And need it. And wish I spent less time here. And more time. Harry help me, I'm an addict.

Hehe. Yes, I am reading. Tonight, anyway...
I'm trying to get caught-up on a backlog of private e-mail that Traci has put in the "Harry" folder. I'm also trying to work up the nerve to look at the Feedback Forum. Given the late hour, that might have to wait, however.

I love "Notaryville" it's the best Soap Opera around. And like any other medium, it is great to get help with notary issues, it's fantastic to have a new company call, it's been such a blessing at times to share prayers, and it's made me laugh so hard I've cried. It's the best money I've ever spent!
