Update...
I have found out from one of today's newspapers that there were two soldiers from Rob's unit hurt. One who is a Chief of Police from NH who is critical and flown to Germany and the other from NH who is the same age as my Rob, which was reported to have minor injuries and in a hospital in Baghdad. The paper reported that they were under heavy attack when this all happened.
My prayers are ongoing for these soldiers and their families. I have not heard any more and trying to take that as "no news is good news"(if you can call it that). Over the past few months, reading "between the lines" of what Rob tells me, I know that things have been pretty rough at times, but this is the first of his own unit that has been hurt as far as I know. Up to this point, when he tells me what he can, he usually puts in "nobody in my unit got hurt".
Thank you to Ilona_OH for the phone call last night. It sure helped me to talk to you. Thank you Laura for the information you posted. And thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

Cindy...
I'm sorry I wasn't there for you last night. I just read and caught up on everything posted from 4 pm yesterday. My prayers are wth you and Rob, and for the others that were hurt. If I saw your post when you posted it, I surely would have called you. Sorry you had such a bad night. We all have Gaurdian angels, and thankfully, Rob's was paying attention...let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

I can relate to how she is feeling. My son in law is over there stationed at Camp Anaconda. My poor daughter is a nervous wreck all the time. I worry about her and him most of all. I'm always praying for them and I will pray for yours too.
