Wachovia
Have any of you registered with Wachovia to do signings? A friend of mine is getting a loan with them and she said she wanted me to do the signing and they asked if I was registered with them. I told her to have that person call me so I can learn how to get registered. The Wachovia person also said she should have an attorney do the closing. I think that is because the L.O. is in Ga. Any thoughts? Thanks b.

I just went to the Website, and there is a vendor registration area.

Went there and looked that over. I wasn't very clear on the process. I will revist and look again.

I just went on the website under vendor and it is set up for vendors that would supply a service such as office supplies and such. If you find out how to sign on with them, I would like to find out.

Bev I went round and round with them, they told me that my state is an attorney only state. it isn't. Finally, they told me to get with their 'legal dept' to try to find out why. I guess they make the decisions. I think they are just a little behind times.

Thanks everyone for your time. I will tell my friend that when the time comes I want to be there to help if I can. She hasn't ever bought any property. Maybe I'll find out then what the big secret is. If so I'll let you know. b.

I have been told that Wachovia will only use attorneys for their closings.

My company works in the state of GA and it is actually an attorney state. We have an attorney to close loans in the office. Just wanted to let you know it is an attorney state.
