Well, I did my first signing last night.

And it was easy. In and out in 40 minutes. I didn't feel nervous at all because I am already very familiar with the loan docs, which helps tremendously.

The wife was a basket case. She kept telling me I looked like a young Mikey Rourke from the nose up. (I'm 27 years old)

The husband was really nice. He would shut her up and keep the process moving.

Overall, if this is how it is most of the time then I am really looking forward to doing doc signings full time.

No, there's more to this business than the husband shutting up the wife and keeping the process moving. I hope you gain wisdom, professionalism and experience. Good luck.

I think you took my post a little too seriously. Think of my comments as if I was doing a comedy routine, then maybe you will understand that I was just making light of the situation.

I am very professional when doing my job, I just figured everyone here could relate to the rather interesting things that happen during signings.

Respectfully Yours,

Scott.

If I took you're post "too seriously" than I apologize. I read the post and found it to be very cocky of you.

I suppose it's hard to convey context over the internet sometimes, or I just need to work on my composition skills. =)

You'll get all kinds of people. Just keep plugging away at it. It sounds like you had a great first signing!

Thank you Melissa! I plan on marketing myself during my lunch breaks for the next few weeks. Since I already work with escrow officers on a daily basis (funding loans) it's seems like it's going to be a lot easier to get my foot in the door.

Um, Scottie...

If you post something about you looking like a young Mickey Rourke-then I insist you put a picture in your profile :-)

BTW, you should have something written in your profile too. It's an excellent marketing tool.
