What exactly to a SS do? Re copied....again

This has been posted 2 times before with no response from any Signing services. I'm sure that is because of the weekend. I a reposting to get a few answers please. We want to learn the process not slam the signing service. At least that is my motive.

Farther down the list, is a comment from someone that an NSA should not eat a trip fee because all the SS does is "forward you the docs" and the SS can better afford to lose a full fee for a cancellation than an NSA can.

I've read several similar comments about what an SS does.

Could some of the signing services that read this board give us an overview of what, exactly, you do to earn YOUR fee? We all know what an NSA does to earn his/her fee.

Don't think you are going to get much of an answer. From my perspective SS are just the middle-man.

You may be right but I am curious. I have worked with many SS and really no complaints. I just would like to know how they process thier calls. We put out a lot of info on this board and have responded to many SS's post for feedback. I would like them to return the favor.
By the way. I didn't post the original of this, Marlene did and I want to give her credit.

I'd like to hear their answer also, S. Not what the *scheduler* tells me on the phone. I would like to hear them say here. I brought this up on the weekend.

SatomiCO apparently someone took your bagel this morning?
I am asking re-posting a question that can shed some light on the whole picture of how a signing works.
I have talked to some of the SS's that I work with...about the signing I am handling for them at the moment. If they care to come on this board and discuss or answer this in thier free time that would be great, but while I'm taking calls from them and they are paying me I won't be asking questions about anything other than what they called me about.

I wasn't responding in a negative way.

If the thread is not being answered on NotRot, then I still stand on my post of asking them on the phone. So what if a company is paying me? I have no problem of asking them questions about something they aren't calling me about.
