Who's doing the highly touted eNotarization thing?
What do you know about it?

Why you avoid the eNotarization thing?

There are several states who are 'looking into it' or have climbed on the bandwagon, but there are no 'takers' for this service at this point in time. If there were, I'm sure someone would have posted their experience. So, for now, save your money.

E-notarization has been put into motion in three counties in PA on a test run. I have read many articles of lenders geared up to use it. State notary laws and local recorders offices have to come up to date before it will be able to go forward. I have a Powerpoint presentation from the NNA site that shows how it will work. Additionally, each state will have to implement an enotary seal program. A notary will then access their seal for each signing (online). If their commission is revoked or suspended they will no longer be able to access it. This will eliminate some of the fraud with fake notaries and stolen seals, as long as you don't give you your online access code to your e-seal. Additionally, this will allow tracking of any changes to documents. This will aid in the mortgage fraud also.
