local Mortgage companies...

I'm slamming my head up against the wall tying to get into them...Is it that they don't grab the concept? Everyone says no thanks we use or have attoney firm handle that handles our loans and re-fi's.

Do you work for them? How'd you get in? To me it seems that they don't even want to go there..

It's tough. Even here in Texas. My suggestion is to keep putting a buzz in there ear, via a newsletter and such, telling them that you are available if the attorney firm they use is unavailable. Give them a bulleted list of maybe:

1. Off hours when the firm is closed and you are open.
2. During busy times you can be there to assist and be gone when they don't.
3. Last minute signings when the borrowers can't meet with the attorney's - you can go to them.

Send a couple business cards with the newsletter and after a quarter or so (3-4 moths), mail them again. If they ever need you, they have YOU name first and this could lead to additional business in the future with them.

Those Mortage companies are a tough nut to crack. But with you CHARMing ways, you can do it!!!!

Re: Charm, sent you another email.

Thank goodness... 'cause I'm tired of seeing free info going to undeserving, self-important little twerps.

I'm definitely a fan of E-mail when it is questions like these!

Email me Charm, I'll give you some tips.

I'd say over 99% of my closings are directly from the Lender.
My fees appear on 1106 on the Hud, and they directly to me. not the title company, then the Ss, then me....etc....

Re: Email me Charm, I'll give you some tips.

I would be very grateful if someone would share some of this wisdom with me? I know I'm not as charming as Cheryl but I did tell everyone about a great Seafood market that ships nationwide does that count????
Thanks Beverly
