need to vent/no docs/ no cancel call

OHHH I AM SO MIFFED! Had a 6pm closing with reputable national title co (?). waiting and waiting for docs, finally i call, they are closed! called both cells, voicemail! i turned down a 5:30 and a 7:00, and I don't even get a cancel call!? I was already having a fight with them in my head for late docs and a 30 minute drive in rush hour! Why, oh why, are some of the dozens of companies I sign for on the money with their docs, no problems, and others are constantly late with them, and then blame the notary that they are late to appointments to the borrower??? $125 out the window, and one I turned down was for more. So much for loyalty, I should have bumped them and taken the higher one, if this is the thanks I get, growl snarl, whine. There, I feel better, and I know you folks know what I am talking about!

There is a concept in business where you keep the best and as you add other good companies you pare off the ones that give you trouble. Refer them to someone else and that way you have no hard feelings from the SS and the other agent will love you for it.

The late/no docs and no calls seem to be increasing. I make sure that it doesn't ruin my day by having a policy of not setting the appointment until I get all the docs. That way, it doesn't ruin my flow or put someone else out.

Hey Charles, how's the detector working out?

Gret Glenn!

I have run through several radar traps here and there including two on the night I came south. I suspect that at least one of those would have cost me. The detector has already paid for itself as far as I am concerned. Thanks for your info it helped a lot.

Super. I know I hav saved a few bucks myself over the years. Where it has really saved me is on some of those back roads where there was no warning of a speed limit change and the county mountie is waiting.

As soon as California weather forcast can put together 10 days or so of clear weather in a row, I am going to head up that way on the bike to visit some relatives. I will stop by and buy the coffee break.

I'll look forward to it Glenn! But as far as good weather

I'm in Orange County now and expect to be here a few days more. It has been miserable up North, I've been told it has sonowed, my fields got flooded by the river and it is till raining and miserably cold. It's kind of cold even here and I came down for a few days of sun and warmth. Today was the first nice day and it was still a little cold except in the sun and out of the wind. Call me when you decide to head up.

Since when will the "other agent" appreciate a referral with a co that shows no integrity? Just kidding, but I don't refer my "no-no-no co's" to other agents. That would be unkind of me and I know how hard all of us work to complete the assignments & the sick feeling you get when you end of with the "no pay, no cancel notice & no consideration" from SS's, TLC, etc.
